Fortune has released its list of the 100 best companies to work for in Europe for 2024, with two German companies in the top 10.
When it comes to professional work, Europe is recognized for having one of the most favorable approaches globally. European countries consistently rank among the best for work-life balance, were some of the first to trial the four-day workweek, and offer some of the highest average salaries in the world, along with other employee benefits.
Fortune and Great Place to Work have published the “Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for Europe” list, which was compiled by analysing more than 1.3 million survey responses from over 2 million employees across Europe. The companies that topped the list had employees who were both more motivated to work and more comfortable with their company’s way of working.
At the top of this list is Germany’s DHL Express, which is the international branch of DHL Express. This company is located in Bonn, Germany, and 45,000 employees are working there. The European branch of the American pharmaceutical giant Abbvie is in the second place. Also, Allianz, a German financial services company, ranks seventh in this list. Here is the list:
