With many different services, the German-Iranian Chamber of Industry and Commerce enables companies and private individuals to establish new trade relations between the two countries or to expand existing cooperation.
47 years AHK Iran
AHK Iran was founded on April 29, 1975 by 6 German and 6 Iranian businessmen.
Since then the board of the AHK Iran consists of six members with German citizenship and six members with Iranian citizenship. It elects a president, two vice-presidents and a treasurer from among its members.
The duties of the Board include deciding on the guidelines and policies for the management of the Chamber and supervising the implementation of these guidelines. It safeguards the interests of the members and is responsible for observing the resolutions of the General Assembly. The members of the Board of Directors perform their duties on an honorary basis.
The Board’s primary objective is to promote bilateral relations and German-Iranian trade. In its actions it feels committed to the principles of the “Honourable Merchant”.
