In the first eight months of 2024, Iran and Germany exchanged one billion euros of goods, which has increased by 10% compared to the same period last year.
According to the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, from January to August 2024, Iran and Germany exchanged 1.03 billion euros in goods, which is a 10% increase compared to 936 million euros last year. Of this amount, the share of German exports was 875 million euros, which has grown by 14% compared to the previous year. Iran’s exports to Germany in this period were 158 million euros, which has decreased by 10% compared to last year.
The volume of trade in August 2024 between Iran and Germany has increased by 17% (from 123 to 144 million euros). Germany’s exports this month grew by 24% (from 101 to 125 million euros) and Iran’s exports decreased by 15% (from 22 to 19 million euros).
