13.06.2024German-Iranian Chamber of Industry and Commerce organized networking event for Agrofood Iran exhibitors
The German-Iranian Chamber of Industry and Commerce recently organized a successful networking event at its office. The event was aimed at German exhibitors of the Iran agrofood fair and more than 30 Iranian companies from the food industry that are members of the Chamber.
In his opening speech, Chamber President Shahin Asghari emphasized the importance of the food industry: ‘The food industry is a crucial sector as it is not affected by international sanctions, supports human rights and promotes German-Iranian business relations.’
Paul März, Managing Director of fairtrade Messe, organizer of the fair for over 30 years, presented impressive statistics about the event. He emphasized the participation of numerous international exhibitors from various countries and remarked: ‘In view of the political situation in Iran, this participation is remarkable.’
After the speeches, the German exhibitors introduced themselves and the participants enjoyed an evening of productive networking and exchange that strengthened international business ties.
