In January 2025, the trade volume between Iran and the European Union reached nearly €355 million, marking a 6% decline compared to January 2024.
According to Eurostat data, Iran and the EU recorded €355 million in trade during the first month of 2025—a 6% decrease from the same period in 2024. European exports to Iran dropped from €311 million in January 2024 to €292 million in January 2025 (-6%), while Iran’s exports to the EU also fell from €69 million to €63 million (-8%).
Germany (€109 million), the Netherlands (€54 million), Italy (€45 million), and Romania (€31 million) remained Iran’s top European trading partners.
