Majid Nili Ahmadabadi has been appointed as the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Germany.
According to ISNA, Majid Nili Ahmadabadi has been selected as Iran’s new ambassador to Germany. He currently serves as the Assistant to the Foreign Minister and Director General for Western Europe at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Nili Ahmadabadi was appointed to this position on January 10, 2023, by Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister of the 13th government.
His previous diplomatic roles include serving as Iran’s ambassador to Norway, Chargé d’affaires in the Czech Republic, and Head of the Western Europe Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prior to this appointment, Mahmoud Farazandeh was Iran’s ambassador to Germany. Following the completion of his tenure, he has since returned to Iran.
