From January to November 2024, the trade volume between Iran and the European Union amounted to €4.15 billion, a 3% decrease compared to the same period in the previous year. Despite this decline, Iran's exports grew by 5%.
After the European Union sanctioned three Iranian airlines in October 2024 and suspended their flights, European services will resume starting January 31 with Iran Airtour’s Tehran-Paris flight. The airline is currently planning flights to destinations in Germany, Spain, and Austria.
