The main driver of this decline was the significant reduction in European exports to Iran. EU exports to Iran reached \u20ac2.67 billion, down 21 percent year on year. In contrast, Iranian exports to the EU totaled \u20ac700 million, recording a more moderate decline of 9 percent.<\/p><p>In November 2025, bilateral trade amounted to \u20ac276 million, reflecting a 26 percent decrease compared to November 2024. European exports declined by 21 percent to \u20ac234 million, while Iranian exports fell sharply by 46 percent to \u20ac42 million.<\/p><p>The structure of EU exports to Iran was mainly dominated by Chemicals and related products, n.e.s. (SITC 5), with a value of \u20ac976 million, representing a 4 percent decrease. This was followed by Machinery and transport equipment (SITC 7) amounting to \u20ac722 million, down 34 percent.<\/p><p>Iranian exports to the EU remained largely concentrated in Food and live animals (SITC 0) with a value of \u20ac304 million, as well as Manufactured goods classified chiefly by material (SITC 6) totaling \u20ac152 million.<\/p><p>Germany remained Iran\u2019s largest trading partner within the European Union, accounting for the highest share of both exports to Iran and imports from Iran. The Netherlands, Italy, France, and Spain followed as other key European trading partners.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
