Germany\u2019s exports recorded a 25 percent decline, while Iran\u2019s exports grew by five percent.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1aa212e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1aa212e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>According to data published by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) and reported by the German-Iranian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the trade volume between Iran and Germany from January to September 2025 amounted to 914 million euros. This figure stood at 1.153 billion euros in the same period of the previous year, indicating a significant drop in trade activity. Germany\u2019s exports to Iran fell by 25 percent to 735 million euros, while Iran\u2019s exports to Germany increased by 5 percent to 179 million euros. The September 2025 monthly trend also shows a 12 percent decrease in bilateral trade.<\/p><p data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1386\">In terms of commodity composition and based on the SITC classification, Germany\u2019s exports to Iran continue to be dominated by industrial machinery, vehicles, chemicals, and manufactured goods classified by material. At the same time, \u201cfood and live animals\u201d and \u201cchemicals\u201d were among the most important categories in Iran\u2019s exports to Germany in 2025.<\/p><p data-start=\"1388\" data-end=\"1954\">In the September breakdown, Germany\u2019s exports to Iran declined across most product groups, with \u201cvehicles and industrial machinery\u201d experiencing the largest drop at 33 percent. Conversely, Iran\u2019s exports to Germany in certain categories, including \u201cbeverages and tobacco\u201d and \u201cmiscellaneous manufactured goods,\u201d recorded notable growth.
