Of this amount, Europe\u2019s trade with Iran dropped by 24%, from \u20ac2.55 billion in 2024 to \u20ac1.96 billion in 2025. Iran\u2019s exports decreased by 5%, from \u20ac562 million to \u20ac531 million in 2025.  <\/p><p>In August 2025, trade between Iran and Europe fell 8% compared to August 2024, reaching \u20ac311 million. Of this, European exports were \u20ac255 million (down 10%) and Iranian exports \u20ac56 million (down 1%). <\/p><p>According to the SITC commodity classification, Europe\u2019s largest export group to Iran was chemicals, totaling \u20ac686 million (down 8%). Machinery and transport equipment, which were Europe\u2019s top exports to Iran last year, fell 41% and ranked second. Iran\u2019s largest export group to Europe was food and livestock, totaling \u20ac239 million (up 17%).  <\/p><p>Germany remains Iran\u2019s top trading partner in Europe, accounting for over 30% of Iran\u2019s trade with the continent (\u20ac806 million). The Netherlands and Italy follow with \u20ac393 million and \u20ac358 million, respectively. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea2d72a elementor-align-left elementor-widget elementor-widget-button\" data-id=\"ea2d72a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\"
