European exports to Iran stood at \u20ac583 million (-17%), while Iran&#8217;s exports to Europe totaled \u20ac120 million (-17%). The primary factors contributing to this decline were a 47% reduction in exports of food and live animals and a 28% decrease in exports of transport equipment and machinery and equipment from Europe to Iran.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2025 alone, the trade volume between Iran and the EU reached \u20ac348 million, marking a nearly 26% decrease compared to February 2024. European exports declined from \u20ac391 million to \u20ac288 million, while Iranian exports fell by 22% to \u20ac59 million.<\/p>\n<p>The leading category of goods imported by Iran from Europe, based on the SITC standard classification, was chemicals and related products, n.e.s., valued at \u20ac186 million (+5%). The main category of goods exported by Iran to Europe was food and live animals, valued at \u20ac59 million (-1%). Germany remains Iran\u2019s largest trading partner within the European Union, accounting for over 30% of Iran-EU trade.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
