Scholz also confirmed he would bring a no-confidence vote to the Bundestag by 15 January, paving the way for parliamentary elections by the end of March at the latest.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, after increasing pressure, Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced he will face a vote of confidence on December 16. The early elections for the Bundestag are to take place on February 23 as the heads of the CDU\/CSU and SPD parliamentary groups reached a final
