the new EU rules, aiming to &#8220;limit their power,&#8221; according to Reuters.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-48ca2e78 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"48ca2e78\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>According to Reuters, Sven Giegold, state secretary in charge of competition policy at Germany&#8217;s economy ministry, said tech giants\u2019 contribution would help EU antitrust regulators better enforce the Digital Markets Act (DMA) which the six companies have to comply with on March 7.<\/p>\n<p>The landmark rules set out a list of requirements for the six companies, such as allowing rival services to inter-operate with their services, as well as letting business users promote their offer and conclude contracts with their customers outside their platforms.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element platforms, including Meta, Google, Apple, TikTok, as well as two very large online search engines, will have to pay a regulatory fee: 0.05 percent of their annual net revenue worldwide, according to
