Dadurch ist das Land zunehmend auf die Technologie weniger m\u00e4chtiger Unternehmen im Ausland angewiesen \u2013 was seiner Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit in einer zunehmend von KI angetriebenen Welt schadet.\r\n\r\nDie deutsche Wissenschaft leistet einen wichtigen Beitrag zur weltweiten Erforschung k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz. Aber wenn es um die Entwicklung praktischer KI-Anwendungen geht, hinkt Deutschland hinter KI-Giganten wie den USA und China hinterher &#8211; und die L\u00fccke wird gr\u00f6\u00dfer. Das geht aus einer neuen Analyse von Deutschlands staatlicher F\u00f6rderbank KfW hervor.\r\n\r\nW\u00e4hrend in China die Zahl der Patentanmeldungen f\u00fcr KI-Technologie seit Anfang der 2000er Jahre um das 100-fache gestiegen ist, haben sie sich in Deutschland im gleichen Zeitraum lediglich verdreifacht. Mittlerweile liegt Deutschland mit einem Anteil von sechs Prozent aller weltweiten KI-Patentanmeldungen weit abgeschlagen hinter China mit 29 Prozent und den USA mit 27
