Juni 2024, in Kraft tritt.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4c3803b6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4c3803b6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Nach Angaben der DW haben rund 14% der Bev\u00f6lkerung in Deutschland keine deutsche Staatsangeh\u00f6rigkeit. Laut Regierungsstatistiken wurden im Jahr 2022 168.545 Menschen in Deutschland eingeb\u00fcrgert &#8211; das sind nur 3,1 % der ausl\u00e4ndischen Staatsangeh\u00f6rigen, die seit mindestens 10 Jahren in Deutschland leben, obwohl die Zahl in den letzten Jahren gestiegen ist. Mit den neuen Regeln erhalten Nichtdeutsche, die schon l\u00e4nger in Deutschland leben, neue Rechte.<\/p>\n<p>Hier sind die wichtigsten \u00c4nderungen:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mehrere Staatsangeh\u00f6rigkeiten<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Einb\u00fcrgerungswillige m\u00fcssen ihre bisherige Staatsangeh\u00f6rigkeit nicht mehr aufgeben, um Deutsche zu werden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beschleunigtes Verfahren<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Statt der bisherigen acht Jahre k\u00f6nnen die Menschen die deutsche Staatsb\u00fcrgerschaft bereits nach f\u00fcnf Jahren erhalten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Besondere Leistungen werden belohnt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr &#8222;besondere Integrationsleistungen&#8220;, wie es das Bundesinnenministerium nennt, wird die Einb\u00fcrgerung bereits nach drei Jahren m\u00f6glich sein. Zu diesen Leistungen geh\u00f6ren nicht nur das Erlernen der deutschen Sprache, sondern auch hervorragende Leistungen in der Schule oder im Beruf, b\u00fcrgerschaftliches Engagement oder die Kandidatur f\u00fcr ein politisches Amt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erleichterter Zugang zur Staatsb\u00fcrgerschaft f\u00fcr Kinder<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alle in Deutschland geborenen Kinder ausl\u00e4ndischer Eltern sollen k\u00fcnftig die deutsche Staatsangeh\u00f6rigkeit ohne Vorbehalt erwerben und die Staatsangeh\u00f6rigkeit ihrer Eltern behalten k\u00f6nnen, wenn mindestens ein Elternteil seit mehr als f\u00fcnf Jahren rechtm\u00e4\u00dfig in Deutschland lebt und einen dauerhaften Aufenthalt hat.<\/p>\n<p>Die umstrittene &#8222;Optionsregelung&#8220; &#8211; die Kinder ausl\u00e4ndischer Eltern zwang, sich mit 18 Jahren f\u00fcr eine Staatsangeh\u00f6rigkeit zu entscheiden &#8211; wird nun abgeschafft.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Besondere Anerkennung f\u00fcr die &#8222;Gastarbeitergeneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die so genannte Gastarbeitergeneration &#8211; haupts\u00e4chlich T\u00fcrken, die in den 1960er Jahren nach Westdeutschland kamen, um in der Industrie zu arbeiten &#8211; muss keinen Einb\u00fcrgerungstest mehr ablegen. Sie m\u00fcssen lediglich m\u00fcndliche Sprachkenntnisse nachweisen, um die deutsche Staatsb\u00fcrgerschaft zu erhalten. Es wird erwartet, dass viele von dieser M\u00f6glichkeit Gebrauch machen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Das Gleiche gilt auch f\u00fcr ausl\u00e4ndische Arbeitnehmer, die in der ehemaligen DDR gearbeitet haben.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Den Lebensunterhalt verdienen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Obwohl die neuen Regeln grunds\u00e4tzlich f\u00fcr alle gelten, m\u00fcssen Einb\u00fcrgerungswillige weiterhin nachweisen, dass sie ihren Lebensunterhalt selbst verdienen k\u00f6nnen (auch hier k\u00f6nnen sich Menschen aus der Gastarbeitergeneration trotzdem bewerben).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bekenntnis zu Demokratie und Antirassismus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Das Bekenntnis zur demokratischen Ordnung des Grundgesetzes war schon immer eine Voraussetzung f\u00fcr die Einb\u00fcrgerung. Dies schlie\u00dft nun ausdr\u00fccklich diejenigen aus, die sich antisemitischer, rassistischer oder anderer menschenverachtender Handlungen schuldig gemacht haben.
