 			\n		Iran exported €126 million worth of food and live animals to the
  EU-27 in the first four months of 2025\, marking a 10% YOY increase.Acco
 rding to Eurostat data\, from January to April 2025\, the total trade vol
 ume between Iran and the EU-27 amounted €1.31 billion\, showing an 18% 
 decline compared to the same period in 2024. EU-27 exports to Iran totale
 d €1.03 billion (–21%)\, while Iranian exports to the EU-27 stood at 
 approximately €280 million (–4%). In April 2025\, bilateral trade rea
 ched €279 million\, down 16% from €330 million in April 2024. EU expo
 rts to Iran during this month amounted to €211 million (–17%)\, and I
 ranian exports to the EU were reported at €68 million (–10%). Based o
 n the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC)\, the leading ca
 tegory of EU exports to Iran was chemicals and related products\, n.e.s. 
 (SITC Section 5)\, totaling €323 million\, down 4% year-on-year. On the
  Iranian side\, food and live animals (SITC Section 0) remained the top e
 xport group to the EU\, amounting to €126 million\, up 10%. Germany rem
 ains Iran’s largest trading partner in the EU with a total trade volume
  of €426 million\, followed by the Netherlands (€203 million)\, Italy
  (€197 million)\, and Belgium (€86 million).		\n					\n									Full
