DESCRIPTION:Iran–EU Trade Falls by 18% in Early 2025				\n		In the first
  five months of 2025\, trade between Iran and the EU-27 dropped by 18% ye
 ar-on-year\, reaching €1.6 billion.According to data published by Euros
 tat\, total trade between Iran and the 27 EU member states (EU-27) amount
 ed to €1.6 billion from January to May 2025. This marks an 18% decline 
 compared to the same period in the previous year. During this timeframe\,
  EU exports to Iran totaled €1.27 billion\; down by 21%\; while Iranian
  exports to the EU reached €336 million. In May 2025 alone\, Iran–EU 
 trade stood at €290 million\, reflecting an 18% decrease from May 2024.
  Of this amount\, €234 million came from EU exports to Iran (–20%)\, 
 and Iran’s exports to the EU were valued at €56 million (–8%). Base

 llion\; a decline of 8%. On the other hand\, Iran’s leading export grou

 , marking a 9% increase year-on-year. Germany remained Iran’s top Europ
 ean trading partner with a total trade volume of €521 million. The Neth
 erlands (€249 million)\, Italy (€237 million)\, and France (€104 mi
