 ile German exports to Iran fell sharply by 18% between January and June 2
 025\, Iran’s exports to Germany remained largely stable.According to fi
 gures from Germany’s Federal Statistical Office\, bilateral trade betwe
 en Iran and Germany amounted to €619 million in the first half of 2025\
 , down 18% from €755 million in 2024. German exports to Iran dropped by
  21%\, from €638 million in 2024 to €503 million in 2025. By contrast
 \, Iran’s exports recorded only a slight 1% decrease\, standing at €1
 16 million.  In June 2025\, Iran’s exports to Germany grew by 12% compa
 red to the same month last year. Total trade that month amounted to €10
 9 million\, a 13% decline from €127 million in June 2024. Germany’s e
 xports reached €91 million (down 18%)\, while Iran’s exports rose to 
 €18 million (up 12%).  Iran’s main exports to Germany consisted of fo
 od and livestock (SITC-0)\, worth €62 million and up 12%. Germany’s l
 argest export category to Iran was chemicals (SITC-05)\, valued at €185
  million (down 15%). In the same period last year\, Germany’s top expor
 t to Iran was automobiles and industrial machinery\, which fell by 30% th
