DESCRIPTION:Iran–Europe trade surpasses two billion euros				\n		The vol
 ume of trade between Iran and the European Union reached 2.2 billion euro
 s from January to July 2025\, marking a 22 percent decline compared with 
 the same period last year.According to Eurostat data\, trade between Iran
  and Germany in the first seven months of 2025 amounted to 2.2 billion eu
 ros\, showing a 22 percent decrease compared with the same period in 2024
 . Of this amount\, European exports to Iran stood at 1.71 billion euros\,
  down 25 percent from last year’s 2.27 billion euros. Iranian exports a
 lso fell by 7 percent\, from 504 million euros to 469 million euros.  How
 ever\, in July 2025 Iran’s exports to Europe recorded a 6 percent incre
 ase compared with last year. In the seventh month of 2025\, trade between
  Iran and the EU totaled 340 million euros\, 16 percent less than in July
  of the previous year. Of this\, European exports to Iran amounted to 263
  million euros (down 21 percent)\, while Iran’s exports reached 77 mill
 ion euros (up 6 percent).  The main goods exported from Europe to Iran we
 re chemicals (SITC-5)\, with an export value of 596 million euros (down 8
  percent). Iran’s top export to Europe was food and livestock (SITC-0)\
 , valued at 206 million euros (up 14 percent).In the first seven months o
 f 2025\, Germany remained Iran’s top European trading partner with 717 
 million euros in trade. The Netherlands (337 million euros)\, Italy (326 
 million euros)\, and France (133 million euros) followed as Iran’s lead
