DESCRIPTION:20% Drop in Iran-Europe Trade				\n		In the first eight months
  of 2025\, Iran and the EU-27 conducted nearly €2.5 billion in trade\, 
 marking a 20% decrease compared to the previous year.According to Eurosta
 t data\, the trade volume between Iran and the EU from January to August 
 2025 was €2.49 billion\, a 20% decline compared to the same period last
  year. Of this amount\, Europe’s trade with Iran dropped by 24%\, from 
 €2.55 billion in 2024 to €1.96 billion in 2025. Iran’s exports decr
 eased by 5%\, from €562 million to €531 million in 2025.  In August 2
 025\, trade between Iran and Europe fell 8% compared to August 2024\, rea
 ching €311 million. Of this\, European exports were €255 million (dow
 n 10%) and Iranian exports €56 million (down 1%). According to the SITC
  commodity classification\, Europe’s largest export group to Iran was c
 hemicals\, totaling €686 million (down 8%). Machinery and transport equ
 ipment\, which were Europe’s top exports to Iran last year\, fell 41% a
 nd ranked second. Iran’s largest export group to Europe was food and li
 vestock\, totaling €239 million (up 17%).  Germany remains Iran’s top
  trading partner in Europe\, accounting for over 30% of Iran’s trade wi
 th the continent (€806 million). The Netherlands and Italy follow with
