 		In the first eight months of 2025\, trade between Iran and Germany tota
 led 816 million euros\, marking a 22 percent decline compared to the same
  period last year.According to Germany’s Federal Statistical Office\, b
 ilateral trade between January and August 2025 amounted to 816 million eu
 ros\; down by 22 percent year-on-year. Of this figure\, German exports to
  Iran stood at 657 million euros (down 26 percent)\, while Iran’s expor
 ts to Germany reached 160 million euros\, showing a modest 1 percent incr
 ease. In August 2025\, the trade volume between the two countries was rec
 orded at 99 million euros\, a 32 percent drop compared to August 2024. Ge
 rmany’s exports fell sharply from 126 million euros to 79 million euros
  (down 37 percent)\, whereas Iran’s exports rose by 5 percent\, reachin
 g 20 million euros. Based on the SITC classification\, chemicals remained
  Germany’s largest export category to Iran\, amounting to 247 million e
 uros (down 18 percent). On the other hand\, food and livestock topped Ira
 n’s exports to Germany\, valued at 84 million euros (up 12 percent).		\
