DESCRIPTION:Iran–EU Trade Report for the First Nine Months of 2025 \n Iran’s trade volume with the European Union reached 2.82 billion euro s between January and September 2025\, marking a 19 percent decline compa red with the previous year.Iran’s trade volume with the European Union reached 2.82 billion euros between January and September 2025\, marking a 19 percent decline compared with the previous year.According to figures published by Eurostat and reported by the German-Iranian Chamber of Indus try and Commerce\, Iran–EU trade totaled 2.82 billion euros in the firs t nine months of 2025\, a 19 percent decrease year-on-year. EU exports to Iran fell by 22 percent to 2.22 billion euros\, while Iran’s exports t o the EU declined by six percent to 595 million euros.In September 2025\, bilateral trade amounted to 326 million euros\, down seven percent compa red with September 2024. EU exports to Iran reached 262 million euros\, a seven percent decrease\, while Iran’s exports to the EU dropped by eig ht percent to 63 million euros.The major EU export categories to Iran\, b ased on the SITC standard\, were chemicals and related products\, machine ry and transport equipment\, miscellaneous manufactured goods\, and food and live animals.In contrast\, Iran’s main exports to the EU consisted of food and live animals\, manufactured goods classified chiefly by mater ial\, chemicals and related products\, crude materials (inedible\, except fuels)\, and animal and vegetable oils\, fats and waxes.Among EU member states\, Germany\, the Netherlands\, Italy\, France and Belgium reported the highest levels of trade with Iran. \n \n Full details of Iran and EU-27 trade - January to September 2025\n END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
