During this period\, German exports to Iran fell by 25 percent to around EUR 795 million. In contrast\, Iranian exports to Ge rmany increased by 8 percent\, reaching approximately EUR 201 million\, p artly offsetting the overall decline in bilateral trade.Monthly data indi cate that bilateral trade in October 2025 stood at around EUR 83 million\ , marking a 9 percent year-on-year decrease. In this month\, German expor ts to Iran amounted to EUR 62 million\, down 18 percent and the lowest le vel recorded since the Federal Statistical Office of Germany began publis hing these figures. Meanwhile\, Iranian exports to Germany rose sharply t o EUR 21 million\, reflecting a 39 percent increase compared with October of the previous year.According to the SITC commodity classification\, ch emicals and related products remained the leading category in German expo rts to Iran\, despite a cumulative decline of around 17 percent over the period under review. German exports of vehicles and industrial machinery to Iran also recorded a significant decrease of 35 percent.
