DESCRIPTION:EU Exports of Machinery and Transport Equipment (SITC 7) to Ir
 an Decline by 39 Percent				\n		Trade between Iran and the European Union
  continued its downward trend during the first eleven months of 2025\, re
 aching a total volume of €3.4 billion.Based on Eurostat data\, trade vo
 lume between Iran and the European Union amounted to €3.4 billion in th
 e period from January to November 2025\, representing a 19 percent decrea
 se compared to the same period last year. The main driver of this decline
  was the significant reduction in European exports to Iran. EU exports to
  Iran reached €2.67 billion\, down 21 percent year on year. In contrast
 \, Iranian exports to the EU totaled €700 million\, recording a more mo
 derate decline of 9 percent.In November 2025\, bilateral trade amounted t
 o €276 million\, reflecting a 26 percent decrease compared to November 
 2024. European exports declined by 21 percent to €234 million\, while I
 ranian exports fell sharply by 46 percent to €42 million.The structure 
 of EU exports to Iran was mainly dominated by Chemicals and related produ
 cts\, n.e.s. (SITC 5)\, with a value of €976 million\, representing a 4
  percent decrease. This was followed by Machinery and transport equipment
  (SITC 7) amounting to €722 million\, down 34 percent.Iranian exports t
 o the EU remained largely concentrated in Food and live animals (SITC 0) 
 with a value of €304 million\, as well as Manufactured goods classified
  chiefly by material (SITC 6) totaling €152 million.Germany remained Ir
 an’s largest trading partner within the European Union\, accounting for
  the highest share of both exports to Iran and imports from Iran. The Net
 herlands\, Italy\, France\, and Spain followed as other key European trad
