DESCRIPTION:Export of German machinery to Iran worth 500 million euros in 
 2023		\n		In February 2024\, the foreign trade statistics of Iran and Ger
 many were published\, showing a 23% decline in the volume of transactions
  between the two countries in 2023 compared to the previous year.\nAccord
 ing to the Federal Statistical Office\, the transaction volume between Ir
 an and Germany amounted to €1.45 billion in 2023\, a decrease of 23% co
 mpared to 2022 (€1.81 billion). Of this amount\, EUR 1.2 billion was at
 tributable to German exports to Iran\, a decrease of 24% compared to 2022
  (EUR 1.58 billion). On the other hand\, Iran exported goods worth almost
  245 billion euros to Germany\, a decrease of 18% compared to the previou
 s year.\nThe largest group of goods exported from Germany to Iran in 2023
  were Machinery and transport equipment with a volume of 514 million euro
 s and chemical products with 388 million euros (increase of 17% and decre
 ase of 1% respectively compared to the previous year). Food and live anim
 als\, which were the largest exports from Germany to Iran last year with 
 a volume of 485 million euros\, were exported to Iran this year for 28.5 
 million euros\, a decrease of 94%. In contrast\, most goods exported from
  Iran to Germany are Food and live animals at 87 million euros and Crude 
 materials\, inedible\, except fuels materials at 80 million euros (down 1
 2% and 36% respectively compared to the previous year).\nIn December 2023
 \, the volume of trade between the two countries was 133 million euros\, 
 which has decreased by one percent compared to 134 million euros in Decem
 ber 2022. In this month\, Iran's exports to Germany increased by 11% and 
 reached 23 million euros from 20.6 million euros in 2022. Germany also ex
 ported 110 million to Iran\, which has decreased by four percent compared
