 r of Industry and Commerce recently organized a successful networking eve
 nt at its office. The event was aimed at German exhibitors of the Iran ag
 rofood fair and more than 30 Iranian companies from the food industry tha
 t are members of the Chamber.\nIn his opening speech\, Chamber President 
 Shahin Asghari emphasized the importance of the food industry: ‘The foo
 d industry is a crucial sector as it is not affected by international san
 ctions\, supports human rights and promotes German-Iranian business relat
 ions.’\nPaul März\, Managing Director of fairtrade Messe\, organizer o
 f the fair for over 30 years\, presented impressive statistics about the 
 event. He emphasized the participation of numerous international exhibito
 rs from various countries and remarked: ‘In view of the political situa
 tion in Iran\, this participation is remarkable.’\nAfter the speeches\,
  the German exhibitors introduced themselves and the participants enjoyed
  an evening of productive networking and exchange that strengthened inter
