 Iranian Chamber of Industry and Commerce Participates in the 14th Iranian
  Ceramic Congress		\n		The 14th Biennial Congress of the Iranian Ceramic 
 Society was held at the Olympic Hotel in Tehran\, with the German-Iranian
  Chamber of Industry and Commerce and NexGen participating alongside the 
 Iranian Ceramic Congress to establish a connection between the industry a
 nd startup players in Iran.\nOn September 10th and 11th\, 2024\, the 14th
  Biennial Congress of the Iranian Ceramic Society and the 4th Internation
 al Ceramic Conference of Iran were jointly organized by the Iranian Ceram
 ic Society and Zarin China (Chini Zarin)\, with the support of the German
 -Iranian Chamber of Industry and Commerce\, at the Olympic Hotel in Tehra
 n. The congress was opened by Abbas-Ali Ghasaei\, the CEO of Zarin China\
 , followed by speeches from Shahin Asghari\, the President of the German-
 Iranian Chamber of Industry and Commerce\, and Katayoun Sepehri\, a membe
 r of the NexGen Steering Committee.\nIn his speech\, Shahin Asghari highl
 ighted the potential of the German market in the ceramics and glass secto
 r and expressed hope that with increased investment by Iranian industries
  in startups and innovation\, existing gaps in the German market would be
  identified and filled. He added: “The German-Iranian Chamber of Indust
 ry and Commerce will stand alongside the Ceramic Society to facilitate th
 e path for players and startups in this industry to enter the German mark
 et.”\nKatayoun Sepehri\, a member of the NexGen Steering Committee\, al
 so referred to a meeting between the Ceramic Society and NexGen in August
 \, saying: “After our meeting with this society\, we worked hard in a s
 hort time to identify worthy startups related to this industry. Through m
 entoring sessions we organized for them\, we helped them make a strong pr
 esence at this congress.”\nSubsequently\, two startups\, I4twins and Ge
 o Mars\, selected and mentored by the NexGen Steering Committee\, had the
  opportunity to present their startups to the audience. In the end\, the 
 board of directors of the Iranian Ceramic Society awarded certificates of
  appreciation to these two startups.\nIn 2023\, Germany imported ceramics
  worth 3.26 billion euros and consumed 28 million tons of cement. Despite
  economic challenges\, the German glass industry was still valued at 12.3
  billion euros. These figures indicate a vast potential for Iran in terms
  of exports to this country.
