 oalition - SPD\, FDP and the Greens – on November seventh\, Social Demo
 crat (SPD) Chancellor Olaf Scholz sacked Finance Minister Christian Lindn
 er of the liberal FDP party. Scholz also confirmed he would bring a no-co
 nfidence vote to the Bundestag by 15 January\, paving the way for parliam
 entary elections by the end of March at the latest.\n&nbsp\;\nHowever\, a
 fter increasing pressure\, Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced he will face 
 a vote of confidence on December 16. The early elections for the Bundesta
 g are to take place on February 23 as the heads of the CDU/CSU and SPD pa
 rliamentary groups reached a final agreement.
